5.AI writing function test: How much time can the built-in AI editor of AnQiCMS save

There are not many enterprise website systems that come with built-in AI writing functions, and AnQiCMS was one of the early attempts. I used it to write 10 articles, recording my actual experience.
Let's state the conclusion first.
AI drafts quickly. I wrote an industry analysis article of about 2000 words:
- Writing manually: From选题 to the first draft, it takes about 2 hours
- AI-assisted writing: Use AI to generate a draft and then edit it yourself, about 45 minutes

The actual operation process of AI writing
AnQiCMS's AI writing feature is in the backend editor. When writing articles, there is an AI button in the lower right corner of the editor, click it and you can:

I mainly used the AI continuation and AI rewriting functions.
AI continuation
Enter the title and the first paragraph, choose the direction of continuation, and AI will generate the subsequent content according to the context.
For example, I wrote a title "How Small and Medium Enterprises Do Online Marketing", and the opening was "In 2025, more and more small and medium-sized enterprises are beginning to shift their marketing budgets to online. But many business owners don't know how to start."
Then click on AI continuation, and AI generated three directions:
- The three major channels of online marketing: social media, search engines, and e-commerce platforms
- Common mistakes in online marketing for small and medium-sized enterprises
- Online marketing strategy options when the budget is limited
I chose the third direction, and AI continued to write about 800 words. The content framework is clear, but specific cases and data need to be supplemented.
AI rewrite
The AI rewrite function is also very useful. Some are written stiffly or repetitively, and by selecting them and using AI rewrite, you can change the way of expression.
For example, I wrote a product description and repeated the word 'efficient' three times. After selecting it and having AI rewrite it, AI changed it to 'fast, saves time, reduces waiting' and other different expressions, which sounds more natural.
The advantages of AI writing
Fast
The speed at which AI generates the first draft is indeed faster than typing manually. Especially for writing structured content such as product introductions and industry analysis, AI can quickly provide a framework.
Lower the threshold for starting up
Sometimes, I want to write an article but don't know how to start. Using the AI continuation feature, by inputting a title and a few keywords, AI can generate an opening paragraph, solving the problem of not knowing what to write in the face of a blank document.
Multilingual content generation
AnQiCMS's AI also supports translation functionality. After writing an article, you can have AI translate it into English or other languages to assist in multilingual content. The translation quality is not perfect, but it is enough as a draft base.
Consistency
When writing a series of articles, AI can maintain consistency in style and content. For example, when writing a set of product tutorials, the structure and wording of each article are relatively unified.
The disadvantages of AI writing
Content is vague
The framework of the content generated by AI is correct, but lacks specific details. When writing industry analysis, AI will say 'Some research shows' but will not give the specific research name and data. When writing product recommendations, AI will say 'Function powerful' but will not specify which functions and how to use them.
These issues need to be supplemented by oneself, and the process of supplementation may not be much faster than writing oneself.
Easy to have an AI taste
Text generated by AI sometimes has a noticeable template feel. For example, it often uses phrases like 'In recent years,' and 'With the development of...' at the beginning, and ends with phrases like 'In conclusion,' and 'In summary.' These need to be manually modified.
I checked the checklist for the anti-AI writing guide and found that the draft written by AI often contains these words: empower, create, lead, worth paying attention to, in conclusion. Every article needs to be deleted sentence by sentence, and only the remaining part can be used.
Not suitable for professional content
If your article involves professional knowledge, such as medicine, law, and finance, the content generated by AI may be inaccurate or even incorrect. This type of content is not suitable for AI-assisted writing, or at least it should be proofread very strictly.
Scenarios suitable for AI
Repetitive content
Content such as product descriptions, FAQs, and common questions and answers, with fixed information and uniform format, can be generated by AI drafts with high efficiency.
Draft framework
When writing a long article, use AI to generate an outline first, and then fill in the content yourself. It's faster than starting from scratch with a title.
Multilingual content
Wrote an article, needs to be translated into multiple languages. AI translation is much faster than manual translation, although the quality is generally poor, it is suitable for the first draft.
Daily update
The corporate website needs to be updated frequently with news and dynamic content. This type of content has strong timeliness and few words, AI assistance can save time.
Not suitable for AI scenarios
In-depth industry analysis
Content that needs to cite specific data, research reports, and expert opinions is difficult for AI to provide accurate references.
Personal experience articles
Articles like 'My real feelings about this product after three months' cannot be written by AI because AI does not have actual experience.
Marketing copy
Copywriting that requires creativity and uniqueness, AI-generated content is often monotonous, and it is not as persuasive as manually written content.

AI assistance saves the most time on structured and templated content. Time saved on in-depth and creative content is less, as there is more time for post-editing.
Actual usage suggestions
If using AnQiCMS's AI writing feature, I have a few suggestions:
Write an outline first and then let the AI continue. Do not let the AI generate the entire article directly, write a few points first, and then let the AI expand one by one, so that the generated content is more controllable.
The content generated by AI needs to be edited sentence by sentence. Especially the beginning and end, these two parts are most likely to be written in a templated way by AI.
Fill in specific dataThe data descriptions in the content written by AI are usually vague, and you need to look up information to fill in accurate data and sources.
Maintain authenticityAI does not like to use colloquial expressions, but the real content needs to be colloquial. Add your own tone and expression to the content generated by AI.

Is the AI writing function free?
AnQiCMS's free version has basic AI writing functions, and advanced functions require the business version.
Can the content generated by AI be published directly?
Not recommended. The content generated by AI needs to be proofread and modified by humans, especially parts such as data, cases, and opinions.
Does AI writing involve copyright issues?
There is no clear conclusion in law on the ownership of copyright for AI-generated content. In China, AI-generated content can be registered for copyright. If you use the AI function of AnQiCMS to generate content, it is recommended to check the terms of the commercial version of the authorization clause.
Does AI writing help with SEO?
Help is limited. Google and Baidu are both cracking down on low-quality AI-generated content. If your content lacks original viewpoints and unique information, even if AI writing is fast, it may be demoted by search engines.

The AI writing feature of AnQiCMS is a practical tool, but it's not infallible. It can save you time on the initial draft, but there's no way to save time on revisions and proofreading later on. For corporate content teams, using AI to assist with the initial draft and human editors to handle the final proofreading and additions is a realistic approach.
